Oh my gosh, I have seriously neglected Beauty For A Living! While I haven't stopped updating my personal blog, this beauty blog is a different story because there's just too many beauty events, product launches and new beauty technologies out there! It's like there's something new every other day and I just gave up trying to post them all. I'm so sorry, my dear readers.
For this very first return-to-beauty blogging post, I've decided to report on the very basic of all makeup: foundation.
Revlon sent me their latest product--the Revlon ColorStay Mineral Mousse Makeup. This boasts a formula that offers the benefits of mineral makeup in lightweight mousse form. The foundation will effectively cover facial flaws for up to a whopping 16 hours while protecting the skin with its SPF20. And yes, it's free from talc and parabens so if you have sensitive skin, you don't need to worry about irritation.
Now I love mineral makeup--it's the first kind of makeup that did not make me break out--so I'm pretty excited about this foundation. I was excited, too, when I saw all the tubes Revlon sent over! Whee! Thanks, Ruby Dela Cruz!
Revlon ColorStay Mineral Mousse Makeup comes in 6 shades to suit all skin tones. Each 30mL tube costs P875 and is available at Watson's, Beauty by SM, Robinsons Dept Stores, PCX, Mercury Drug Glorietta, Gaisano Metro, Cinderella, Landmark, Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall and Unimart.

ooh, i'm so excited about this product. i have the colorstay liquid foundation with soft flex and i so love it. can't wait to try this one.
although revlons are really good its too expensive for me.800 for the liquid foundie?man!.i can buy one mac item on that
I use Maybelline mousse foundation and it's the only product that didn't make my skin breakout (that, and MAC fix powder).
But since mineral makeup is all the rage, I decided to try the Maybelline mineral powder foundation (I remember you used a similar one, but it's L'Oreal, hehe). Again, it's perfect for me! My acne scars seem to disappear whenever I apply it. :)
I was actually scouting for the Clinique mineral powder (which claims it's especially formulated for people with Roseacea like me), but the sales girl told me it's only available in the States and UK. I'm contacting my mom's friend to buy for me and I shall get it when he comes home in October. :)
This is too long already, I got excited haha. I don't get to see you in the office, I remember I still owe you a story! ;p
Purplesilke, Halle Berry swears by Revlon's foundation! And now, you, too!
CamRenRai, is Mac the same cost as Revlon? Didn't know that...
Roan, ya I'm a L'Oreal user! I've not used Maybelline and Revlon actually (I want to finish my L'Oreal True Match first) but since you had such glowing remarks on Maybelline (and you always look so fab!), I'll try that!
wow i'm interested in trying this product out :)
i'm thinking of switching to mineral makeup
Do you still have the revlon gift bag? I collect them!
